"Dammit Jim, I'm a doctor, not a(n) [insert other profession here]!"
lol I love Bones.
On the right is the original Bones, DeForest Kelley, and on the left is the 2009-present Dr. Leonard McCoy, Karl Urban. I thought the casting for the 2009 Star Trek movie was particularly excellent, but casting Karl Urban as the new McCoy was pure perfection. Urban does a perfect rendering of the old Bones, while at the same time putting his own clever spin on the character. I know that doesn't make any sense, but I don't really care.
Other Star Trek Portraits:

Honey, I totally agree. I was awestruck the new Bones quip and totally gobbling it up. Amazing, amazing artwork and amazing characters! (I totally get it!) Luv n hugs!
Amazing job! And i absolutely agree with you about Urban's job on character. I can see old Bones there, his sarcasm and universe size heart, but its not an imitation of Kelley. He is surely breath new life in old Bones
